Meet Our Farm Animals

Chickens, Cows, Ducks, Geese, Guinea Fowl, Horses, Pea Cocks, Pea Hens, Pigs, Sheep, Turkeys....Oh my....

 So gentle and kind

Have you ever had the pleasure of the sweet smell of a horse.  Or touching it's soft muzzle? Or, well I could go on and on.

But there are some who have never and could never have this experience.  Why?  Because they are allergic to one of the most majestic of God's creatures.  The Horse.  We have acquired an ancient breed of horse called a "Curly"  They are gentle, beautiful, loving and only want to please you.  But best of all, they are hypo-allergenic!

And our granddaughters have horses that range from Quarter Horses, to Paints and Andalusians!  You will meet them in the round pen as well.  They are kind and gentle and ready to ride you during your visit here.  Above is Honey Bug and Hope.  In this photo Hope and Honey Bug are practicing what they have learned in the Parelli training.

Some of our laying hens.  They roam freely over the whole farm every day.  They put their self up in their  pens in the evening and we shut the door behind them to keep them safe overnight.

Do you know how many eggs a chicken lays in a year?

Come and visit them and maybe take home some "Kackle Berries"  as Mr. Eddie calls them.

MEET OUR SWEET ANGUS COWS AND THEIR BABY CALVES

AND ON HIS FARM HE HAD SOME DUCKS......

OUR SWEET GEESE

THE GUINEA FOWL...good for keeping down the ticks

MR. PEACOCK.....Did you know they lose all their tail feathers in the summer and grow them back before you arrive in the fall? In this photo you can see he is putting on a show for his pea hen....

With an oink, oink, here and an oink, oink there.......

And our granddaughter's sheep....Katahdin sheep.                                                                  Here is Miss Hannah giving them some groceries out of the garden....Yum, Yum!
